Benllech Rugby Club, Anglesey, have just landed a great new sponsorship deal with Liverpool based foot care provider, Foothealthcare.com.

The club have had a successful start to the season on the field and the deal for a new kit and free foot care is a welcome boost for the young players. James Sheridan, sales manager of Foothealthcare.com, says “Podiatry and advanced foot care is an increasingly integral part of high level sports. The Welsh Rugby Union and Glamorgan Cricket Club have a podiatry programme and aspiring clubs like Benllech can now take advantage of podiatric practice too”.

Foothealthcare.com is Europe’s leading online consumer foot care provider, offering extensive foot care tips and advice, as well as a full range of products for feet and related ailments. Karen Martin, a podiatrist at Utopia, Menai Bridge and podiatric consultant for Foothealthcare.com, is delighted to be involved with Benllech Rugby Club. As a specialist in sports podiatry, she will be providing the team with free foot care and advice.

Other good news for the club this season is that their long standing home Treetops Country Club has been bought by Wynn “Bont” Griffiths, local builder and former Benllech Player and his business partner Neil Hibbert. Plans for the sports and leisure development include new post-match hot showers, big screens and cheap beer, so the players and their supporters can watch their international heroes.

Release date: October 2006
