What is Foot Cream used for?

Feet are one area that many people fail to pamper, but in reality, it's the part of our body that really deserves the most pampering.  Foot Creams should be used to help you solve your foot problems such as Cracked Heels, Cracked Skin, Dry Skin, Athletes Foot and even Diabetics can take advantage of the wide range of Diabetic Foot Creams.

Who should use Foot Creams?

Everybody should use foot creams but don’t, some people use Foot Creams for many different reasons.  Our feet need the same skin care attention and treatment as much as other parts of our body that are usually exposed.  For those of you who do not have the time to visit a foot doctor or visit a spa, then there is no need to worry, with the wide range of Foot Creams available from www.foothealthcare.com you can treat your feet in the comfort of your very own home.

Why should we use Foot Creams?

Foot creams should be used regularly.  Our feet are prone to foot diseases because they are commonly kept enclosed in our footwear which means they do not get the proper air circulation and they easily develop moisture.  Some people are not aware of the real importance of skin care or how they should look after their feet which can cause the development of dry skin and cracked heels.  Moisturising your feet is very important and should be done daily after showering/bathing.

What Foot Cream should I be using?

First you should determine what problem you have with your feet before deciding what foot cream to purchase and use.  If your feet are so dry that painful cracks have formed then look for a cream that has an ingredient of Neem oil (also known as vegetable oil) this oil helps the healing process for dry cracked feet.

If you suffer with Diabetes, try using a foot cream with Urea in, Urea softens and deeply hydrates skin while increasing moisture retention; you should also ensure that the cream is Hypo Allergenic this will help against irritation of the skin. Urea is used in topical dermatological products to promote rehydration of the skin. Urea 40% is indicated for psoriasis, xerosis, onychomycosis, ichthyosis, eczema, keratosis, keratoderma, corns and calluses.  Urea breaks down hardened, callused skin and eliminates cracks and fissures.

For itchy, dry feet try and use a cream that contains Manuka Oil, this is an antihistamine that relieves the itchy painful nature of dry damaged feet.

If your feet are moisturised daily the above conditions should not affect you, when mousturising daily try and use a cream that contains Shea Butter, one of the most important ingredients in foot moisturising creams. Shea Butter is an exceptional moisturiser, adding deep and penetrating hydration to thirsty feet as well being a powerful anti inflammatory providing further nourishment and relief.  If you moisturise your feet daily this can also prevent aching and fatigue to your feet.

Always read the directions on your creams before use to prevent any side effects.

Do you suffer with Aching Foot Fatigue?

If you are on your feet for a long time and feel very tired in the legs then you need a rest. We must sit in a chair and give the lower limbs an elevated position for example put yout feet on a chair. This will create a good flow of venous blood and lymph and after 15 minutes you can go back to business.

In the evening have a massage or self-massage with gentle pumping movements from the bottom up lasting 10 minutes. Then apply a foot cream.
